Topic:              Identity Management: Controlling and Recertifying Access in an increasingly regulated world

 

Identity Management spans a broad range of topics, however, none is more pertinent right now than that of how to use identity management to manage governance, risk and compliance.  With new regulations coming to light more and more frequently, it's hard to stay ahead of where your company needs to be; especially when it comes to ensuring only the appropriate access is maintained by employees, contractors, vendors, customers and whoever else constitutes your user base.  The April roundtable will feature two individuals from PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Twin Cities that have significant experience in designing, assessing and implementing Identity Management solutions across multiple industries.  These professionals have deep experience helping their clients solve access management and recertification issues we face in this heavily regulated environment.

 

During this session, our presenters will discuss the following:

 

§         Brief overview of Identity Management and how this topic relates

§         Understanding of Role Based Access Control and Role Engineering

§         Governance, Risk and Compliance and how it relates to access control and recertification

§         Access Recertification Trends and Technologies to make life easier

Directions:       PricewaterhouseCoopers is located downtown Minneapolis on 2nd Avenue and 6th Street. The meeting will be on the 14th floor of the 225, South Sixth Street Building. Once on the 14th floor, the receptionist will be able to direct you to the room (#14065).
