Roundtable:
Strategies in continuous control monitoring: Reduce your reliance on manual testing
April 19th, 2007
8:00 a.m. -10:00 a.m.

Overview: Have better things to do with your time than test controls and review reports for Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulations?

Looking for ways to spend more time on value-added auditing or strategic decision-making?

Eliminate the tedious process of manually testing controls by reviewing indicators of control effectiveness in near real-time with continuous control monitoring (CCM). Walk through continuous control monitoring scenarios several common business cycles, including purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, and the general ledger financial close. Learn how other companies use CCM to reduce manual testing efforts and increase overall control intelligence. See first-hand how CCM analytics can help identify errors, potential indicators of fraud, segregation of duties violations, and other exceptions to business rules that may be hidden within high volumes transaction data. Using specific examples and a leading third-party CCM tool, see first-hand how CCM techniques can reduce your workload and allow you to make intelligent, insightful decisions more quickly, and hone in on potential business and process issues within your company.
