Controlling Admin/Root/Supervisor Access

Overview:

Control of the Administrator is a key control for every network. This roundtable will be NetPro's demonstration, then Tom Parker of Microsoft on recent security developments from Microsoft, followed by a roundtable discussion on controlling privileged user access.

NetPro Computing, Inc. will be talking about NetPro's Active Directory and Identity Management Infrastructure Software with a focus on proactive security, detailed change tracking to Active Directory and Windows File System, unauthorized change prevention and regulatory reporting.

It will be a technical presentation contrasting the NetPro's Technology, which is an agent architecture, with older and other server event log based technologies.

  • Tony Vaccariello, Systems Consultant, NetPro Computing Inc. Tony Vaccariello is based in the Chicago area and has over 13 years experience in the Information Technology industry Tony began as a Technical Instructor from there went to Product Support on both Micro and Open systems. Mr. Vaccariello then moved in Enterprise Management focusing on Event Correlation, User Security, Software Deployment and Asset Management. Mr. Vaccariello has been working for over Six years focusing on Enterprise Security and Compliance Monitoring relating to networks and applications, also with Healthcare and Financial security regulation review, and administration task automation. Lately Mr. Vaccariello has worked with various public and private organizations.
