Overview: This roundtable will deal with all aspects of building and maintaining an IT Audit Staff. This includes recruiting, training and retaining staff in this competitive “buyers” market. The roundtable will begin with viewpoints representing a large IT audit organization, a smaller organization, and a permanent hire recruiting firm. Please come prepared with your questions and ideas for this important roundtable that everyone can utilize.

Our Panelists: We will have a facilitated panel roundtable led by the following three individuals

Marsha Drake, MidCountry Bank
Marsha has been a Chief audit executive for more than 25 years, in both large and medium size financial institutions. Internal audit staff size ranged from one up to 12, with skill and experience ranges from college graduates to 20-year-seasoned auditors, and expertise categories from all internal audit (and no industry) to no internal audit (and all industry). Supervised IT auditors with significant experience as well as those with no experience in IT.

Travis Finstad, Wells Fargo Audit Services
Travis is currently responsible for WFAS’ Technology Audit Group, Professional Practices team, and WFAS Systems Support. He has 19 years of audit experience in areas such as technology, operations, systems development and due diligence. Travis received a BS degree in Accounting and a BS degree in Business Administration - Finance from Minnesota State University at Mankato, MN. He also received an MBA with a concentration in MIS from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. Travis has been active and held various board positions with the MN ISACA chapter over the last six years.

Scott Berg, Robert Half International, Inc.
Scott is currently the Division Director of Robert Half Technology's Permanent Placement division overseeing all Robert Half's IT Perm placement business for the Twin Cities market. Scott has been with RHT for 2 years and is currently RHT's #4 IT Perm Producer in the country. Prior to joining Robert Half, Scott spent 10 years in the IT field including 5 years managing IT Infrastructure and Support teams.
