Participate in Survey on the Use of Risk Management and Internal Control Frameworks

With COSO's assistance, the Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) has launched a survey to investigate how risk management and internal control frameworks, standards and/or guidance are being used around the globe, and to assess the need for international alignment among various national frameworks.

The survey is available online until 31 July 2010.

13th Annual Accounting and Auditing Student Conference

13th Annual Accounting and Auditing Student Conference – Sept. 16, 2010

The Minnesota ISACA chapter is a proud sponsor of the 13th Annual Accounting and Auditing Student Conference. As part of our academice outreach programs, MN ISACA has consistently supported this conference. Through it, students have an opportunity to become familiar with the IT Audit profession, learn the importance of professional organizations, like ISACA, and learn about professional certifications, such as the CISA. With more than 500 students attending the 50-plus exibitors find this to be a great opportunity to find their organizations next top recruit.

The Minnesota Chapter has earned the 2007 K. Wayne Snipes award for being the Best Very Large Chapter in North America.

On behalf of the Board of Directors we would like to thank everyone who has helped our chapter achieve this award. The award was formally presented to our chapter at the 2008 Global Leadership Conference, held just prior to the International Conference, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 25-26 July 2008.
